Annual Shareholder’s Meeting

On Tuesday evening May 15, 2007, the Annual Shareholders meeting was held at Flatbush Park Jewish Center. Shareholders in attendance listened to our Board President, Bob Snyder speak, reassuring that our cooperative is in a stable financial position. This was also re-iterated by our Accountant.

Howard Strobing, Century Management also addressed the Shareholders advising also there should be no maintenance increase in the foreseeable future.

Both Messrs. Snyder and Strobing briefed cooperators on safety issues for the cooperative; a Safety Committee is presently coordinating measures to ensure protection; some of which will include additional lights (sensor lighting) in the Garage and Driveway areas.

Alan Maisel, Assemblyman was in Albany and unable to attend but a representative from his office, Ms. Sharon Long spoke and answered questions regarding curbside repairs - which will be performed by the city within the next year. Ms. Long also responded to questions regarding neighborhood clean-ups for the Parks on Avenue U and surrounding areas. She had no definite information on the vacant lot adjacent to Walgreen’s. Supposedly a Lowe's was under contract but all activity is now at a halt. She will check and advise the Coop of any further news.

Our attorney also spoke and then proceeded to start the voting process for the election of 3 Board of Directors seats. Ballots were cast and the following shareholders were elected:
• Colleen DePaola
• Edward Scafidi
• Elena (Ellie) Graziano
